Herd History Thank you for your interest in the Pine Springs LaManchas. This all started with a 4H project 23 years ago. During this time I have raised Saanens, Alpines, Nubians and finally have settled with LaManchas. The old original LaMancha doe was Rosehedge Grenie's Cordial. She was the start of my current strong dam line. The Pine Springs does are known for their strong mammary systems that I credit to the Aspen Hill Herd. Longevity is a must with these animals. I feel that this comes from breeding good structure with strong mammary systems that milk well. These does on the following pages have competed both locally and nationally with much success. I hope you enjoy looking at the girls and if I can answer any questions that you may have then feel free to contact me anytime.

Herd Health Herd Health is really important to me. These animals must be managed properly in order to reach their full potential. A good quality hay is a must to keep them in their best condition. Mine is shipped in from the midwest as it is hard to get good quality alfalfa in the south. A 10% all-grain is used along with supplements to bring the protein percentage up. Each animal receives CD&T and Bose yearly and is on a strict worming and coccidia program. Most kids are dam raised only after the mother has tested negative for CAE right before she kids. I do take extra time to separate kids at night from their mothers in order to keep them more people friendly. I have not had any abcesses so therefore do not participate in the CL vaccination program.
Sales You may reserve your Pine Springs kid with a $100.00 deposit. This deposit is only refundable if I cannot fill the order. No refunds on canceled orders and I do reserve the right to keep any kid born on the place at my descretion. All shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. This would mean that the buyer pay for the plane ticket, the crate and the health papers.
